We have been blessed with loyal customers that have kept us going over the years, and we hope to continue to be a part of the Lorena community for many years to come. 1996

Speedy's Pizza in Lorena, TX was purchased by Chuck and Kathy Roper. The restaurant was purchased from a young couple looking to move back to Louisiana to be closer to family. Chuck wanted to keep the Speedy's name to keep the awareness the restaurant already had in the community. D'S Speedy Pizza was opened on February 14, 1996."D'S" stood for their children Derek and Stephanie.

2002

Pizza House opens its third location in Mcgregor, TX, expanding its footprint in the Central Texas area.

2007

The Temple and Mcgregor locations are now sold to focus solely on the original location in Lorena.

2000

D'S Speedy Pizza rebrands to Pizza House. The name came from a childhood favorite pizza restaurant near where Chuck and Kathy grew up in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. A new Pizza House location was opened in Robinson, TX, to bring great pizza and customer service to the neighboring community.

2004

Pizza House Robinson is closed to focus on the newest location in Temple, TX. This location expanded the menu to include items such as subs and salads.

2021

Pizza House Lorena celebrates 25 years of making great pizza! The celebration was delayed because of the Texas winter storm of 2021.
